After the incredible success of Portland to Coast 2022, three of the original walkers vowed to do it again. Taking a year off to regroup and make a plan, Gigi (PwP), Jenny (PT), and Kerry Rae (PD widow) created Movers & Shakers and took off (walking) full steam ahead. Our team is family. We are independent and not affiliated with a local Parkinson's chapter. Our walkers make an effort to attend the monthly walks along the waterfront (see the "walk with us" page and join us!). We all know what a beautiful and empowering event the PTC is, particularly when we're connected and engaged with one another. Walking through life with a challenging, debilitating disease can be depressing, frustrating, and lonely. Find your people, create your community. Together, we are better.
